Hp 2840 I'm experiencing problems with my hp 2840 all-in-one. at present the scene is saying,"10.1004 supply error" can u assist?

The machine is telling you that there is something wrong with one of your toner cartridges. If you recently installed a remanufactured cartidge the builder didn't replace the smartchip on the nose. If your using OEM (HP) orginal cartridges you may have got a power surge that has knocked out the memory on the toner cartridge.

Try to bypass the error. Attempt to print a "Supply Status" page from the printer. It will tell you exactly which one is at fault.

I have an HP 2840 and I have constantly been getting a scanner error 52 code. Per the text and research they say power it on and off, which did not work. Other experts say to replace the scanner...

Hp color laserjet 2840 - prints one page in color, next in black & white. Yellow ink cartridge light blinking. Says "replace supply, using black only". Yellow wasn't showing as low previously.


Follow each of these steps until the problem is resolved:

Print a printer self-test by holding the power button down with a pencil and opening and closing the top cover four times.
Check the nozzle self-test pattern in the self-test print out. If one or more of the solid rectangular areas are missing, an electrical contact problem may be present.
Remove and then reinsert the print cartridge(s) into the printer.
Print the document.
If the problem persists, follow the steps listed above for cleaning the print cartridges and print cartridge cradle.
Try printing again. If the problem continues, replace the print cartridges.

The hp color laser jet 2840 does not print. message "50.2 fuser error" appears


HP recommended checks: 1. adequate 120 VAC power supply, 2. Remove Fuser Assembly, wait 5 minutes and then reseat. 3. Reset the printer to Factory Default settings (remember to copy down the IP address, mask and gateway numbers first).

While this may solve the problem, it is much more likely it's time to replace the fuser. Cost is approx $125 if you buy it online. Just do a Google search on HP 2840 fuser.

My hp 2480 has an error message 10.1004


the #10 error codes are supplies memory errors, it's saying toners installed don't match what's in the memory. Could be dirty contacts or generic toners.

HP 2840 *(Error Message) = replace supply using black only Will only print in black All color and black toner are 75% or more full The drum was low so I replaced it just in case but error message remains.


By repalce supplies, it means that you have to replace the other toner cartridges and that it is only going to print black only

  1. Turn off the power by using the power switch, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the device to initialize.

REPLACE SUPPLIES


Make sure all cartridge are install and secured into place...(take all the cartridge out and back in ) close front door cover and it will go into cartridge calibration...If not, press the "menu" key and with the arrow go to print quality and confirm with the enter key. Go to calibration and confirm...
