Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ3 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Lumix DMZ LZ3

My camera says to replace the batteries no matter how many times I replace them with new ones. It comes on momentarily, then says to replace batteries. I have tried every kind of battery possible.

What type of memory card can be used

You may use any MMC or SD card, which top out at 2GB. MMC cards are all but extinct, so I'd go with an SD card. Make sure it's an SD card, 2GB or smaller. The camera will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

The brand of the card doesn't matter, though personally I'd stick with the major brands.

My computer can't access the pictures on my Panasonic Lumix DMC LZ3 anymore. It begins to download the pictures and then a message saying access denied comes up and the download is halted. I have tried...

Easiest answer is to take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into a card reader on the computer. This will bypass any problem caused by the camera settings.

Possible reason for "access denied"- you may have protected the pictures in the camera to prevent accidental deletion. This would give "access denied" if you were moving the pictures to the computer rather than copying them, because the move function deletes the originals on the camera after making a copy on the computer. Use the right mouse button to drag the pictures and you will get a dialog allowing you to choose "move" or "copy". I similar problem can happen if the memory card has its write protect switch on.

Panasonic DMC-LZ3 takes three pictures with one click why?

You have it on "auto bracket". Press the up button of the 4-way controller twice. Then you should be able to select on or off.

I can't speak for the camera, but I would suggest a card reader to get your photos.
