Question about Panasonic DMR-EH65 DVD Recorder/HDD Recorder
My Panasonic DVD recorder DMR-EH65 stopped in the middle of a high speed copy to DVD and now does not read any disks. It shows a "NoREAD" in the display whenever the tray is closed with or without a disk in the tray.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

If you put a disk in and it just clicks several times, it's more than likely the spindle motor. It's best just to replace the DVD drive. My own theory is that when you record in the high speed mode, it is just too much for the spindle motor to handle over time. I keep my record speed in the standard mode to play it safe.

My remote is not working. When I press a button, I get the following message on my unit: U12, U30, SET #, CHK REMOTE #, or RC #. What can I do to fix this? The message displayed means that the remote control and unit are not communicating and the remote needs to be programmed. To program the remote, press and hold the same number that is displaying on the unit and the [ENTER] or [OK] button for more than 2 seconds. For example, if the unit displays “SET 2”, press and hold and [ENTER] or [OK] for more than 2 seconds.
