Question about Lexmark X4270 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Printer will not print page 2 of a cancelled document, nor anything else since

I have tried deleting and cancelling page 2, but it will not go away. I guess the printer is spooling? because I cannot print anything now. The computer just will not talk to the printer!!

You need to stop and restart your print spooler service. From the control panel, select administrative tools, then services. find the print spooler, right click and stop. then right click and start.

This should clear out the stuck print job. and free up the printer.

My Hp 1510 won't let me cancel a document in the queue

Microsoft has the help you need.
It is a common problem but the answer is here
You need to refer to method "D" about half way down the page

Once you clear the print job delete your extra printer installation

Hope that fixes you up

How can I delete pages from the Brother 210C printer that I do not wish to print^

For Windows XP - click Start, Control Panel, Printers and Faxes

Click on the printer to open up the printqueue. To cancel a print job, right-click on it and click cancel. To cancel all print jobs, click Cancel All Documents on the printer menu.

More information can be found on this website (this should work for any printer): http://hpanswers.blogspot.com/2008/10/cancel-and-delete-stuck-print-jobs-in.html

Not printing and nothing is paused or on the print list.

First of all you must let canceled print jobs finish deleting before sending new jobs, if the job is taking too long try restarting the computer with the printer on to clear the jobs this usually works if not then after restart open the printers folder and cancel all jobs here. let them finish deleting while the printer is still on (they must remain in communication during deleting jobs. Once all jobs are gone, remove the power brick from the printer for about a minute then reinsert and let the printer start up if it doesn't after a minute or so just turn it on once it finishes then try printing again.
