Actually the best suggestion that I can give you is to leave the unit alone and dont force things let it dry for some time. THis happened to my cellphone and I left it alone for about 2 weeks then after everything was fine. Teh worst that you could do is force it to turn on as it will cause a short circuit.

Camera fell in water & stuck lens

If the camera works, but just the lens is stuck, that shouldn't cost much to repair. But don't try to fix it by yourself, go to the service.

My camera fell in a pool

Unless you immediately pulled out the batteries (main battery and back up battery) then the chances are that the water shorted out the circuit and it is probably beyond economic repair

My camera fell into the water

What kind of water? If it is sea water it is probably gone as sea water is highly corrosive. Did you immediately remove the battery and leave it out? If not, then the water, which conducts electricity, could have sent over 300 volts from the flash circuit into the rest of the camera and fried a number of circuits. Without seeing the camera it is impossible for me to give any other suggestions

Day before yesterday my sony cybershot dsc-320 model camera was fell down in to water then i immediately removed battery and memory card, after sometime i inserted the battery then it was not working can...

Unfortunately the damage to the camera is beyond repair, when water enters the circuitry it quickly corrodes the ic pins and works it's way into the casing causing a cascade failure, sometimes the device can run for hours or days before it finally gives up. The money would be better spent replacing the camera for a new one.

My Kodak c190 fell on the ground .. and the lens is slanted now and wont turn on. you cant see the two sides anymore either.. that are ment to open when you turn on the camera.

The repair for this problem is possible, but will probably involve replacing most of the camera, which will easily exceed the value of the camera itself. Your best bet is probably going to be replacing the camera.

My camera fell into water. its not working. Can it be fixed?

If your camera was switched on it is better forget about it. In case switched off then there are 20 % chances of revival.

I found my camera into a bucket of water, tried to dry it outside a moving car, tried turning it on, but it wont turn on, is there anything i can do to fix it?

its very difficult for the camera to dry out when it is sealed closed. A sealed wet camera
gets fairly humid inside and can take forever to dry out. If its a simple camera to
open and you feel comfortable opening it then thats the best thing to do. Open it and
let it dry out or leave it to the experts

Hey i have a sony DSC-P73 and water damage

Water damage is very bad for a digital camera. Even if you let it dry completely before turning it on, sometimes the debris in the water can fry the circuits.

Fell on the pool but it's off when it fell and it turned on but later on it did'nt turn on anymore

The water inside the camera became conductive and did damage to components on the circuit boards, and possibly did some damage to some of the mechancial parts. The camera would have to be rebuilt.

From past experience this type of repair has not been worth the cost. I would shop around for a new camera.
