Question about Thermos QuickSet 462836203 (LP) Grill

1 Answer

Flame problem I have only used my new Thermos grill a few times. I recently had friends over for a BBQ and everything worked fine. SInce then when I use the grill the burn on the right has a nice blue flame but the one on the left and the centre one have orange flames that will come up the front and out past the knobs. Is this easy to fix?

Check the holes the flames come out of, they may be clogged, you may need to clean with a wire brush, if rusty then replace the burners. easy to replace

One burner has full flame, the 2nd burner has low flame!

Has your grill always done this or is it something that recently has started. If this is the first time there might be a difference between the BTU ratings of each burner.

I have full propane, yet a low flame?

he new style OPD valves have a small brass ring located in the female fitting on the LP tank. Over time this ring can work loose and then it does not allow the male fitting to fully depress the OPD valve thus reducing your gas flow
Using a small flat bladed screw driver tighten the small brass ring This should solve your problem
