Can I fit a plug to new world vision 50 ecwlm cooker instead of electric box? Tried to find out if over 2.9kw but 2nd hand and no manual details

I have heard of people doing that and getting away with it - such is the capacity of the modern domestic ring circuit. Certainly no one should be doing it and no one with electrical knowledge would condone or recommend such a thing as if you didn't get away with it, it could burn your house down without blowing a fuse or tripping any safety devices.
The cables carrying the current to the sockets and light fittings traverse many flammable things between the power outlet and the electricity meter...

In an emergency you could fit a plug and use the cooker but never, ever more than one boiling ring and one simmer ring OR the grill OR perhaps even the oven if it is a conventional oven.
If you do decide to take the chance I advise you most strongly never to trust anyone else to operate the cooker and never to leave it unattended...

A large boiling ring is typically 1500/2000 watts and a small simmering ring is typically 800/1000 watts. I can't tell you what the consumption of the other equipment might be but it should be easy to discover as the manufacturer might have a downloadable manual on the website or you could try googling replacement heating elements.

You should have a cooker outlet installed as soon as possible.

How do I change the fuse on my Belling solid ring cooker?

If 2 rings are not working, then it is probably the rings that are faulty
It means testing the rings with a meter.

Bypass a faulty timer unit on a stoves 720ef cooker. . . . My partner tried this today on my cooker and now there is no power to the cooker at all!! Is there a chance he's managed to do the wr

I would suggest the wrong wires were cut off and joined. If the ground wire touches the power wire a fuse or circuit breaker will blow.. Before you do anything more make sure the curcuit breaker is not blown. If it is reset it and turn the cooker back on. If the breaker blows again then it is wired wrong.

The grill on my Hotpoint EW 41 Electric freestanding cooker has stopped working after my wife put aluminum foil into the grill pan which then touched the grill element causing it to 'blow' and so...

The grill element should not 'blow' by just touching it - it should be earthed. The elements do gradually disintegrate over time & the inside wire element either fractures or touches the element casing causing the mains to trip. Sometimes this makes it trip just once & then stops working. Replace the element - not usually any fuse in circuit with this. Often held in by 2 screws adjacent to the element at back of oven and conections via Fast-ons- Rick

My Belling E641 keeps tripping out. Now the trip

You evidently have an earth fault on the cooker i.e one of the heating elements has failed and the trip switch is operating to prevent you getting a shock.

Most likely it is one of the radiant rings that is at fault but it could also be an oven element.

There is no easy way to tell without checking with a multi-meter for earth continuity between each element and the cooker frame, you can do this with the power off and the meter set to resistance or continuity test.

There should be no reading between healthy elements and earth but a faulty element will normally show a reading when the probe touches the cooker frame.
