Are you sure it is the bowl and not inside the pump with the impellar hitting it on spin cycle? I just had the same problem and had to remove a dime from inside the pump.

If you know the position of the reed switch under the top of the machine the magnet will be where the lid closes next to it. Check under the top with a light and a mirror or carefull undo screws under small plastic covers and visually check under hob. There should be a slight bulge or a clip in lid to indicate the magnet posn.....Nomess

No you just need to get the drain hose up higher...the water is siphoning out and is either caused by the end of the drain hose still in water and not having an air gap or the hose is not going up higher then the top of your washer...
Lifting the hose up should give you an air gap and get the hose high enough to stop the siphoning...
