Question about Refrigerators
I emptied my ice bin twice and now my re frig will not make new ice. I have water coming thru the door. The bin seems to be put in right. I have emptied the bin before now problem. What am I doing wrong. My refrigerator is 1 year old.
There is a metal wire that gets pushed up when the Ice becomes too full and turns off the ice maker. You can pull it back down with you hand and that will unlock it and turn the ice maker back on.

There could be so many different things that cause the problem. Service cost a lot of Money and I can think of about ten different reasons why the ice maker isn't doing it's job. If I was there I know I could find the reason. Like poor air circulation around the ice maker, restrictions in the water flow to the maker, low freezer temp., door gasket leakage, etc. It may be more cost effective to purchace a new fridge with the features you want and need.
I will continue to research this if you like. Hope this helps.
