Its the problem of water inlet valve. It's a dual valve. This valve has two tubes in it. One for water dispenser and one for ice maker chamber. The one side of valve is working, but other side of the valve is not working. The valve is got stuck in one position

Ice maker in Kitchenaid KSCS25FT does not refill. Makes ice cubes when filled manually. How to fix?

When an ice maker produces ice after filling with tap water and then cycles and does not refill with water that is an indication that the=> 2319734 Dual Water Inlet Valve

is defective. Replacing the water valve should get you back into the ice making business. The 2319734 Dual Water Inlet Valve has two sides. One side is for the dispenser and the other side is for the ice maker. When one side goes bad you end up having to change the complete dual valve set. Here is a link to a Whirlpool Ice Maker Trouble Shooting Manual Here is a link to another source for the 2319734 Water Control ValveI will be here should you have questions please ask, Thanks Sea Breeze

My dishwasher doesn't clean my dishes anymore and sometimes it doesnt dry them. it is a quiet partner 1 and it is about 2 years old.

It sounds like the water pump on the dish washer has gone out. A dish washer works (much like a clothes washer) by filling up the washer with a set amount of water, then through circulation, pumps the water up through the various spray nozzels. If the water pump is worn and not making enough pressure, the spray won't get the job done. Depending upon make/model, it may be cheaper to replace the water pump.

Run an empty dishwasher load with a bowl of white vinegar on the bottom shelf. As the dishwasher runs the cycle, the vinegar is slowly disbursed and cleans the dishwasher.

Ice maker not working went on vacation and turned water off. seems the watr guide into the Ice maker is blocked. Was wondering why this happens, as action should be similar to stopping Ice making with...

When the water is shut off by the lever, it is shut off at bottom of fridge. When you shut it off, it is allthe way to the tray as it gave water permission to travel and what was left filled the line. Unplug fridge for an hour. Should be fine

I have an old Kenmore 26 side by side that dispenses water and ice. At one point it stopped producing ice and dispensing water. I changed the inline filter and it worked perfectly. Happened again shortly...

It sounds like you need to replace your water inlet valve , it is a dual valve for ice and water in the door and they go out often , the solenoid is not opening anymore , it is located where you hook up the water line.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Whirlpool gold moder GC5SHEXN503 side by side-ice maker not producing ice anymore--water dispenser works fine--laser lites seem ok---no ice jam--no water filling ice molds

Put some water in the ice maker and see if it will kick a batch out. If it does make a batch but does not make any more then replace the water valve. NOTE: the water valve is a dual purpose valve that supplys water in the door and supplys the ice maker. If the ice maker does not kick out a batch then something is wrong with the ice maker. One easy component to replace is the ice mold thermostat.

Whirlpool S/S Ref with Ice in Door - Mod # ED5FHEXMQ

Most fridges run a defrost cycle 2 or 3 times a day. When this is happening a normal pop and sizzle sound will be heard. Otherwise I will need more information. Ice makers need to be cold enough to dispense ice, but not to fill. If yours will not fill, it may be the water filter.

Ice maker not workin

ok as far as the water in your door goes sounds like the micro switch is getting a little gummy and sticking this happens when people dump ice in sweet drinks and some splashes up locate the switch and spray a little wd 40 on it as to you ice it is on a separate valve as the water in the door so the water flow don't mean a lot in this case remove the front plastic cover on the icemaker and you will see a bunch of little holes make a jumper wire out #10 or 12 house wire strip about 1/4 inch off the ends an insert in the holes marked t&h this will start a test cycle make sure yuo hold the plastic insulation so you don't get bit if the ice maker starts cycleing remove the wire and watch for it to stop listen for the icemaker valve to open if the ice maker finishes and the valve didnt fill replace the water valves if the icemaker doesnt cycle and yuo may have to kinda twistm the jumper back and forth to get it to make contact depending on the gauge you used then replace the ice maker motor module if you hear the valve open and the ice maker doesnt fill check for a frozen ice fill tube that should do it
