SOURCE: subzero 690 flashing EC and service

EC means extended run time. Find a subzero authorized servicer and he will probably need to replace the refrig section evaporator assembly.

SOURCE: Subzero 611 Refrigerator not cooling, freezer fine

It sounds like a defective ref section evaporator. This is common, due to poor quality metal used in fabrication. If you call subzero, they will more than likely fix it as they are aware of this issue. It probably wont cost you anything if you get them involved.

Rhino, this is yet another simple fix. You need to call subzero and let them know that your ref section is not cooling properly. 9 out of 10 times it will be a problem with the evaporator coil needing replacement. Sub is aware of this issue and usually picks up the tab for this repair.

SOURCE: fridge portion of my 611 is warm but freezer is still cold. Help.

The only other thing that seems could be wrong is that your freon lines are icing up and is cause you to not cool properly. Pull out your fridge and check the compressor on the bottom

Sub-Zero 611/O not cooling

sorry but i do not have experience with hte sub-zero product line, I can reccomend to you thought that it is a very expensive piecce, and replacing it ( with another sub-zero) may prove to be a more costly option then the repair, Generally a Qualified subzeroe technician, (at least inmy area) is strictly a SubZero, specialist, so although you may pay a premium for the service it will be backed by the manufacture, and only 6-7 years old i cant imagine a problem that would justify replacing the unit.Althougth Im a Do-it-your self advocate, there are somethings that are generally best to leave to a professional opinion. This would be my reccomendation

Subzero 690 flashing EC and service

If you replace the fan and clean the coils, and the refrigerator STILL does not cool, then contact SubZero or a service provider for an evaporator coil replacement.  Units manufacturer before mid-2003 had copper+aluminum coils that would corrode and allow all of the coolant to escape.  The (should be warranty) replacement is all aluminum.
Note the freezer does not have this issue due to the lack of liquid water.
