Check the Sound and Audio settings to make sure that the proper output device has been selected. Go to your Control Panel then Sound and Audio Devices, then the Audio tab. In that tab make sure that Default Sound Playback is set your sound card.
You should be able to use the AC97 codecs available from Realtek for your device. There is a choice of two - standard AC97 or AC97 HD (both are available from the link provided), one of these should be compatible.

What is seen in + Audio video and games Controllers? Since you have tried to install other drivers, I am wondering if you could have corrupted the drivers. If you have got the Right Drivers saved , I would suggest the following: 1. Start the Computer in Safe Mode 2. Open Device Manager> + Sound, video, and game controllers 3.Uninstall everything EXCEPT audio codecs,Legacy Audio Drivers and Video Codecs 4. Close Device Manager 5. Restart the Computer. 6. When the new hardware found message comes direct the wizard to the downloaded driver for installation
the audio controller is audio controller is a VIA VT8233 AC97 Audio Controller. VIA Technology website and download the VT8233 drive and it will definately work...good luck
Might be that the chip is bad, make sure that nothing is muted in your volume control also check that digital doesnt have a check on it. some times when digital has a check it wont let you hear anything.
1 st download the audio driver from net...............
then save it on a cd...
now re install ur window(i recoment o/s-xp sp2)
then install ur audio driver ..
i m 100% sure that it will work..
