Try cleaning out the keys with some compressed air (not too much) or a q-tip.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to contact your phone manufacturer. If it is under warranty or if the company accepts it as a fault not your own then you can probably get it fixed for free.

I lost keys to my 97 expedition I got a new ignition and new keys how do I program the keys to work with the pats system

To program new keys to work with the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) on a 1997 Ford Expedition, you will need to have two working programmed keys available. If you do not have any working keys, you will need to have the PATS module reprogrammed by a Ford dealership or a locksmith that specializes in Ford vehicles.
Once you have two working keys, here are the steps to program new keys to the PATS system:
  1. Insert the first working key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (do not start the engine).
  2. Within 5 seconds, insert the second working key and turn it to the "On" position.
  3. Within 10 seconds of inserting the second key, turn both keys to the "Off" position.
  4. Remove both keys from the ignition.
  5. Insert the new key you want to program into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position.
  6. Within 10 seconds, turn the key to the "Off" position and remove it from the ignition.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for any additional new keys you want to program.
The PATS system should now recognize the new key and it should be able to start the engine. If the new key does not work, please consult with an Ford Dealer or Automotive Locksmith to assist you with the programming.

My 96 Ford Taurus anti-theft light flashes in the morning. Car will crank over revs will go up then car will stop. After a hour or two it starts then goes very good all day until I go to start it the next...

Your key is failing, hence the flashing THEFT lamp.

If you have a backup key at home, try that one. If it works, and you can get a moment where your 1st key is in the mood to work, you can buy a new key from a locksmith and add it yourself, then throw away the bad key.
There are several variations of THEFT system, and the procedures are similar. Oldest and easiest requires 1 working key in hand to set the car up and allow you to add a new key. The next version requires 2 working keys, but the procedure is the same.
Insert 1 key, or one of of your 2 working keys, turn to run, then remove. within 5 seconds, insert the other key, turn to run, then remove, NOW insert the NEW key, turn to run and watch the THEFT lamp. After 3-5 seconds the lamp should turn OFF. If it does, the new key is accepted and programmed. Throw away the bad key as it will simply become a problem and you cant trust it and the thought someday it might work will simply strand you one day.
If you DONT have a working spare, go buy 2 keys anyway matched to your broken key. You will need 2. If your car is the earliest version (available in 96) you MAY be able to add new keys with 1 working key and your current key works sometimes you say.
Do the above with your 1 old key or with 2 if you have a spare, try the 2 new keys one at a time and see if the theft lamp will turn off. If that fails, you wont lose anything, the new keys are still good, but must be programmed with a scantool. Any good repair shop that can handle programming for FORD will be able to do it. The tools that can do it are fairly common nowadays.

My Samsung laptop's (np-r430-jb01ae) function keys are not working. how could i solve it?

Step 1:
Function keys are special keys used for assigning program shortcuts and specialty tasks to the keyboard. They are located at the top of most keyboards and labeled "F1" through "F12." Some keyboards may only feature 10 function keys, while others may have as many as 18. These keys often go unutilized by the average computer user, but they may have very important tasks for some users, which can lead to problems when the keys do not respond. Fixing nonresponsive or malfunctioning function keys is quite simple, and should only take a few minutes.

Connect your keyboard to your computer, and power it up. Open a program that uses the function keys such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. Check your keyboard for an "F-Lock" or "Function Lock" key. This key is used to toggle function-key support; when it is toggled on, the function keys will not work. Press the "F-Lock" key and then try using a function key in the selected program. "F1" is a good key to test, because it is set to open a "Help" document in all Microsoft software. If the key does not work, press the "F-Lock" key a second time, and test the keys again. If the keys still do not work and you are running the Windows 7 operating system, you may need to install a "hotfix" from Microsoft to fix the key functionality. Navigate to the link entitled "Microsoft Support: Some Function Keys do not Work Correctly." (See Below.) Some function keys or keyboard shortcuts do not work correctly on a computer that is running Windows 7 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975741 Resolve unexpected Function (F1 - F12) or other special key behavior on a Microsoft keyboard http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894513 Click on "View and request hotfix downloads" located beneath the title of the article to access the Microsoft Hotfix database. Agree to the terms and conditions, then download the hotfix. When the download is finished, run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to restart your computer after the installation is complete. Your function keys should now work properly.

Shift key not working

You have 2 Shift keys on the keyboard. If the other shift key is working then the shift key that is not working is defective. You should consider replacing the keyboard on your laptop. There is no setting on Windows that can disable the shift key.

**Note : If both Shift keys are not working, Try to check if sticky keys feature on windows is on. Sticky keys should be disabled. To disable sticky keys, Click on start and Go into control panel > Accessibility Options, and under keyboard there is sticky keys. Remove the tick and click apply and OK.

**If "Use Sticky Keys" is unchecked, that means sticky keys is disabled.

I HAVE A NEW ACER 5517 AND CAN'T GET THE @ KEY TO WORK???

First, does the #2 key work? I assume thats the same key as your at button.
If it does, if you hold the shift key and press 3, do you get the pound sign?

if the 2 key does not work, then the problem is with your #2 button. if the # key does not work, then the problem is with your shift key.

Try the right shift key, blow air into those keys, if it still does not work, you will need to replace the keyboard.

it will be covered under warranty.

thanks adi
