Question about Acer Computers & Internet
Press ALT key and keep tapping F10 key as soon as you switch on the laptop.. keep tapping till you get to the screen where it says acer system restore

If you have the recovery cd's .then just boot up with it and select "Install" you can also attempt a repair which won't erase your data.
If you don't have the recovery cd's. Search Google for " Vista Recovery CD" . I just downloaded it and was able to fix a Vista laptop.
Just make sure you get the one for your Vista, 32-bit or 64-bit. You probably have 32-bit.
