F20 is a No Water Detect error. It is an indication that you either have no water coming into the washer, or very little water at all. If the pressure switch has not tripped after 6 minutes, the error code is displayed. This can be a potential problem with the following:

* If you have no water in the wash tub, check the following:
- Inlet water valve may be clogged. Clean inlet screens if necessary.
- Make sure water taps are on.
- Check inlet hoses for kinks or clogs.

* If you have water filling the wash tub, check the following:
- Make sure you don't have a siphoning problem. Click the link for instructions: Duet_Service_F20_error

Hope this helps and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

My similar washing machine gives an OE error. It washes but won't spin giving the OE error. Please help

OE error code indicates that the washer is unable to drain the water it used during the wash cycle. OE can be triggered by a kinked drain hose or a clogged drain pump filter..... please clean drain hose back side of washing machine.. Thank you

Hi, my load says it is done, but had water in the bottom, so I chose to drain & spin, that when the above Error 20 came up, what now???

all that code means is exactly what you found already , washer didn't drain . reasons for a non drain washer are,
clogged pump (something other than water is inside pump) , clogged basket strainer , clogged drain hose , pump failure (there should be more fault codes for that)

Error code 20 on an affinity frigidaire

Hello - The error code "E20" typically means the water is not draining properly or not pumping out fast enough. Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

Error code e20

Hello leah_mcmunn - the error code E-20 indicates that the water doesn't drain. This could be caused by either the drain hose is kinked or your household drain is clogged. If the drain pump is making a humming noise, check the restriction in the drain line. If not, then you might need to contact a professional to possibly replace the pump.

When washer turns on there is a horrible buzzing sound, e 20 error message was on before

This is a blocked drain error code (E20) which can be due to a clogged/kinked drain hose, blocked drain filter/coin trap, or a broken drain pump. The link below provides the detailed troubleshooting procedure of this error code. In addition, replace the drain pump after having found no problem with the drain hose, cleaned the filter, and checked the drain pump impeller but the drain pump just hums, buzzes or whirs.

Frigidare front loader washer error message 20

If you open the top of the washer , there is a "tech" sheet in there to tell you how to reset the error codes.

My washer started this. Then stopped spinning. Now it will not even wash a load. It stops mid-cycle. The ER 20 means that something is not draining right. We checked all of the tubes leading to the pump. Nothing was clogged. The technition seems to think it is a motor controller error.

Clogged pump on Affinity Washer

Exactly the same problem. Washed a small area rug that appeared to have pretty much disintegrated. Machine would not drain. Got the same e 20 code. Checked the drain hose, and it was fine. Reamed the house drain just to be sure. Drum appears to have drained, but now the motor runs, and no water enters the machine. Both water hoses are flowing. No further error codes. Nada.
