Menu keep on blinking

Disconnect the monitor from the computer. Then turn on the monitor, if the menu keeps on blinking then that means the screen is starting to go bad and the monitor needs to be replaced.
You can also hook up the monitor to another computer. If the blinking stops then that means its an issue with the video card in your original computer.

My monitor stays white it wont show any display

Hi,
black-icon.gif This icon indicates the BRIGHTNESS control, more properly called BLACK LEVEL. It adds or subtracts an offset, or bias, into the red, green, and blue signals. This control should be adjusted so that black picture content displays as true black on your monitor. Misadjustment of this control is the most common problem of poor quality picture reproduction on computer monitors, video monitors, and television sets. Later in this document, I will explain how to set this control properly. The setting is somewhat dependent upon ambient light. Modern display equipment is sufficiently stable that frequent adjustment is unnecessary.

picture-icon.gif This icon indicates the CONTRAST control, preferably called PICTURE. It applies a scale factor (gain) to the red, green, and blue signals. It affects the luminance (proportional to intensity) that is reproduced for a full white input signal. Once BRIGHTNESS is set correctly, CONTRAST should be set for comfortable viewing brightness.

The gamma can be controlled through Video Card utility which can usually be accessed by going to display properties.

Depending on your video card software you may be able to right click your desktop, select properties, select settings tab and then choose advanced, towards the bottom. In there you may find a tab called Monitor and under that tab you may or may not (depending on your video card software) be able to adjust your color correction settings(gamma & brightness & contrast).

. Right click on the desktop and then select Properties

2. Click on the Settings tab and then click on the Advanced button.

3. Click on the Color Correction tab and you will see settings for Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma

Compaq presario 2127AD

Flickering may b due 2 ur Display configurations so u may also use some Display software or u may manually correct it.

Properties>Settings>

1. adjust ur screen resolution

Change the refresh frequency for your monitor To change the refresh frequency for your monitor
  1. Open shortcutcold.gifDisplay in Control Panel.
  2. On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
  3. On the Monitor tab, in the Refresh Frequency list, click a new refresh rate.
note.gif Notes
  • To open Display, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
  • The default refresh frequency setting is 100 Hertz, although your monitor may support a higher setting. Check your manufacturer's documentation for information regarding the settings your monitor supports.
  • A higher refresh frequency reduces any flicker on your screen, but choosing a setting that is too high for your monitor can make your display unusable and cause damage to your hardware.
  • Changes to the refresh frequency affect all users that log on to the computer.
