Color printer all require that every cartridge be operational before the printer will go online. Even if you want to just print black the color carts will need to be usable, they can not be out or the printer will just wait until you replace them before it will go on line and be able to print.
The printer is using your color cartridge to print black and greys.
The black cartridge must be empty and will need to be replaced.
The color cartridge has depleted one of the primary colors required
to print black.
Both cartridges will need to be replaced
Hi, I would like to inform you that there is no way to print with black cartridge alone. You need to install two cartridges to wok the printer. So I recommend you to install color cartridge and change the settings to print in black only.
the Printer requires a fully operations set of cartridges to print.
Some models of printer WILL allow black only printing - but not all.
Are you sure there fore yours will?
But still a fully operational set of carts are required to be on board.
