The g2048733 is the serial number and was built in 1912, actually. (1911 is not the model number.) To get the manual, you need the model number. This should be on a plaque on the front of the machine; it may be just above the base on the belt side. (Singer made 40 models as of 1900.) If the plaque is missing, contact 1-800-4-SINGER (1-800-474-6437) to translate the serial number into a model number.
With the model number, you can get a manual here: http://www.singerco.com/accessories/instruction-manuals . Here you can download or purchase manuals depending on the machine.
If you add a comment with the model number, I will be glad to provide the direct link to the manual. I hope this helps.
