Lift links There are 2 lift links on the deck. One broke and one broke at sometime and is gone. Where can we see a parts manual to see if this is the true name for the part and the # OF THE PART.

I imagine the lift links to be a piece of steel with a couple holes in them. Ask a local welding service to make your lift links. Typically you will not find part numbers for a part so eazily reproduced.

SOURCE: The mower deck clutch cable broke so blades will

I just got the kit 175067. Have the old one off except for where it's attached to the lever, schedule and weather has kept me from going further. Very simple to reconnect things at the pulley and above but not too sure how to connect the rest onto the lever and haven't had a chance to get a good look at how the old one might be connected yet. Should be a simple fix.

Craftsman riding mower 17hsp. older model, how to adjust mower deck, it scalps my lawn.

which one, there are a few ways to adjust it,1,there is a knob on the side by your foot with a gauge in inches, turn that to raise it to the desired height, with your release lever down, that is where you want to check for height,if that doesnt work, pick deck all the way up,unbolt each wheel and drop them down to the bottom hole, try that,if it still isnt right, there are 2 bars on the front of the deck, they should be in the middle holes, you can tighten them a little, but, that will affect the drive belt, dont play with those unless the nose is too low,if none of that works, there are 2 bars that clip tp the deck and hang on 2 bolts it is the lift system, you can tighten the bolts on those to lift the deck also.if i knew the number i would be able to have pics and diagrams for you,i believe it is, Craftsman 917.27318

Lever to lower and lift blade deck doesn't work. looks like mechanism that you push in on lever lost a bolt or something. deck doesn't lift or lower

Most of these mowers comes with an owners manual and in the manual there is also a parts description, look there. If you don't have the manual, go to cub cadet website.

I have a Craftsman model 917.273482 and the deck is riding on the left wheels when it is in the fully lifted position. What did I break in the suspension of the left side I can't see anything wrong.

from the manual I just looked at,, the wheels attach to the deck on that model,, so some part is misaligned or bent,, here is the page showing the deck and wheels,, maybe it will help you You can look up the entire lawn tractor at searsdirect ,, Hope that helps Please take a moment to rate my response Thanks Good Luck

How to adjust the mower deck on my murray rider,

Park the tractor on a firm, level surface. . .
At the lower end of the lift/lower travel slot, there should be a plastic cover which you pop up so that your blade lift handle goes all the way down (it should say something about blade level on there somewhere. . . . .
After you have the handle in this position, look at the front lift arms of the mower deck and find the 2 large wing nuts, one on each side. . . . .
Loosen these while the deck is down and then retighten them Your deck is now level and will lift to its highest recommended position when you raise the lever
