Problem i posted yesterday

I posted my problem yesterday, paid for the assistance plan and i received an e-mail today asking if i still had the problem. Yes i still have the problem and i am not sure why i paid for an assistance plan . can anyone tell me if there is a phone number i can call to talk with someone from the Viore company. I didnt receive a manual when i purchased the t.v. from wal-mart and the one person that i e-mailed with from fixya says i need a book. Where do i get a book----- what do i do? My t.v. is barely over a year old

Try moving the hdmi cable around, disconnect it and reconnect it. Try using a different video source.

I've paid for your service but have still not received an answer. (invoice #268236) I have a sylvania 6720FDF 20" TV (triple combo). the vcr won't work. when i put in a tape it'll immediately spit...


there are a number of things that can cause this.
If there's something as simple as a penny underneath the tape loading area (anywhere the tape sits when fully loaded) the sensor that tells the vcr that the tape is fully down won't register, and the unit will spit the tape back out.
there is an optical sensor that goes into a hole that you can see on the bottom of any tape, and if either the emitter (the light bulb) or the detector (which detects the light from the emitter) isn't functional, it'll think the mechanism loaded without a tape in it, and will spit it out.
If the loading mechanism for any other reason doesn't go all the way down, if the unit is unable to spin the heads or if the mechanism that winds the tape around the head can't move, it'll spit out the tape.

It was working fine but since yesterday "there is no sound" today although picture is good


check your leads. scart leads are the usual suspect but check the input lead to tv on both tv and receiver.

I have had my protron for 2 1/2 years and yesterday it just went out. Can you help me?


If the unit will not turn on, it needs to be repaired. You will not be able to address the issue with in-home troubleshooting. As long as the manufacturer has the parts available needed to complete the repair, you can get the set fixed.

Television, model #HL15B-A, powers up but has no picture or sound. Whats more; I have not been able to find model online.

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher. I don't know what you paid for that TV, but you can get a 26LCD for just over $250 from walmart.com.

Screen got hit by a wii remote can it be replaced by its self


If you have an LCD or plasma, the screen costs more than what you paid for the TV. Really! It's called the panel in the industry, and it's the most expensive part of the TV. If have a rear projection or DLP, the screens cost hundreds to replace. But and LCD or Plasma will cost $1,000 and up for 27" and above. Wal-Mart.com has a 42" LCD for $578.

G'Day!

If your TV is an LCD or plasma, you will have to replace the whole thing. The screen of an LCD is called the panel and it actually costs more than what you paid for the TV retail. This is why when a panel develops a defect, 90% of the manufacturers out there will replace the TV instead of repairing it.

If you have a rear projection or DLP, you can contact the manufacturer regarding the replacement costs of the screen. Be prepared though. . . .the cost will not be slight.

How do i register the 2 yr svc plan i already paid for

Click on the link, then go to "Register Your Vizio". Then fill out all info like normal.
