Question about GE Advantium SCA2000B Microwave Oven
Trying to microwave in SCA2000BCC03 and the turntable doesn't rotate and fan doesn't turn on, but the glass of water that I put in is heating up some (didn't run that long as not to reck anything else). The speed cooking function seems to be working just fine (didn't try setting micro portion to a higher setting). Any suggestions as what to test or replace?
I assume you're talking about the internal cooling fan, which should always be on when you're microwaving.
If it is not coming on, the magnetron can be destroyed from overheating!
The turntable and and cooling fan are both controlled by relay RY17 on the main circuit board.
