Microwave function not working properly on GE Advantium SCA2000BCC03
Trying to microwave in SCA2000BCC03 and the turntable doesn't rotate and fan doesn't turn on, but the glass of water that I put in is heating up some (didn't run that long as not to reck anything else). The speed cooking function seems to be working just fine (didn't try setting micro portion to a higher setting). Any suggestions as what to test or replace?

it could be be bad turntable motor.to chk this open up the bottom plate by removing the screws around it.then disconnect the wire connector from the motor.start the unit and chk the voltage with multimeter.if u read voltage then motor needs to be replaced.make sure turntable function is on and not off at the control.if there is no power at the connector then it could be control.chk for any loose wires etc.
Quite often this is due to a bad door switch.
