Why won't the driver for my fujifilm finepix AX300 install on windows vista?

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.

How do i reboot my laptop

Restore to factory settings

Restoring your Sony VAIO computer to its original factory settings is a great way to remove old programs and files that are buried within your computer that you no longer need, or to get rid of a virus that you just can't seem to shake.

This process will allow you to start anew with your computer, and can potentially save you from simply throwing the computer away because you don't think it can handle the workload anymore and spending money on a new machine.

Unplug any cables connected to your Sony VAIO machine with the exception of the power cord and monitor.

Click "Start" in the lower left corner of your screen.

Click "Control Panel."

Click "Performance and Maintenance."

Scroll down to the bottom of the Performance and Maintenance screen and click "VAIO" recovery wizard. The VAIO Recovery Wizard dialogue box will appear.

Click "Next."

Select "Proceed with System Recovery" and click "Next."

Select "C Drive Recovery" and click "Next."

Click "Next" to confirm that you want to proceed with the C Drive Recovery.

Click "Finish" to restart your Sony VAIO machine and initiate the recovery procedure.

Upon restarting your computer, the Sony VAIO Recovery Wizard will prepare your hard drive for recovery and then restart your computer again.

The necessary files will be copied to your computer and your hard drive will be recovered.

Click "Finish" when a screen appears telling you that your recovery process is complete.

Your computer will restart.

Click "Next" when you arrive at the Windows setup screen.

Follow the on-screen instructions to setup your version of Windows.

When you have finished setting up Windows, click "Finish."

Your computer will restart.

Upon restart, the Sony VAIO Recovery Wizard will install necessary files on your computer.

Your computer will restart automatically when these files are installed and your Sony VAIO will be restored to its original factory settings.

Hope this helps

How to download drivers compaq cq40

Go to HP Support. Type in Compaq Presario CQ40, and the rest of the product number. (On bottom of laptop in white Service Tag.
P/N = Product Number. HP's model number)

Then choose the operating system you are using. Finally left-click on the drivers you wish. If there is more than one, download each one, one at a time. Save them.

(I would suggest in Downloads.
XP = Start > My Documents, double-click on Downloads.
Vista and Win 7 = Left-click on the windows logo button, Documents, double-click on Downloads.

You can specify where you want the file/s to download to. If you are not aware of how, and would like to know, please state in a Comment.

SAVE this file/s instead of opening them from HP Support.
Install the drivers yourself)

If you have already tried downloading the files, but found you couldn't, check the settings on your anti-virus software. It may be set to not let the file/s be downloaded.
('Sees' the driver file as a virus, and won't let it download)

After you save the driver file, you have to install it.
Go to where the driver file was saved, Double-click on the driver file name.
Follow the instructions of the Installation Wizard.

(Essentially just click on Next, Next, and Finish. Windows knows the proper place to put the driver files. No need to change anything)

If I am way off base with all of this prattle, come back, and state so.
Let's find a solution to your problem.

I have just puchussed sims 2 for pc and was not told it wont play on windows vista, it keeps telling me i can download a program to play it. Not sure which 1.

When I tried to install The Sims 2 on my pc while using Windows Vista I had a problem. When the installation reached 1% a message appeared saying: "A problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'F:/Support/es/Leeme.txt' from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file,or cancel the installation?" and the installation couldn't go on because you had only 2 choices, retry or cancel. The problem actually is with the name of the file. In the cd/dvd the file has the name 'Leã©me.txt' but in the installation the file has the name 'Leeme.txt'. What you really have to do is:
1.Open 'My Computer'
2.Right-click on the cd/dvd drive with the game in it and hit Open
3.Copy all the files of the game 4.Go to desktop, right-click and hit New<Folder.Rename the folder Disk 1
5.Paste the files of the game inside the folder
6.Go to Support<es and rename the file 'Leã©me' into 'Leeme'
7.Go to Support<sv and rename the file 'lã¤smig' into 'lasmig'
8.Remove the cd/dvd from the drive
9.Start the installation from Disk 1<AutoRun.exe
The installation should now work properly until the end.
But when you try to run the game a message will appear saying 'This program has known compatibility issues'. Click check for solutions online and then follow the link that appears. This link provides you with a patch for the game!
Hope this information was helpful! Enjoy! icon_biggrin.gif

Pc will not finish vista installation

Your computer doesn't have the required specifications to install Vista, I believe it has too little RAM. 512MB is technically enough, but it's possible Vista won't install on it because of that.

Every time i restart my computer on the black boot screen it gives me an option to start windows vista or enter windows vista setup i recently tried to upgrade to vista ultimate and it didnt work now its...

Do you have any important files that you want to keep?

If so, when the boot screen comes up, select to start windows vista and press F8. choose "Safe Mode". copy all of your files to a flash drive or burn them to a disk.

If not, insert your vista DVD and have your BIOS boot from it.
then it will ask you to do an upgrade or clean install; do a clean install.

Do not interrupt the installation until it finishes.
If you made any backups, now is the time to copy them to your computer.
