When I install Kidilook photo manager and try to use it is says to switch to administrator to use it? I have windows 7? Any help would be much appreciated!

When it tells you to switch to administrator, you will have to right click on the icon or start command. That will bring a a box that will have several choices in it. Click on the one that says Run as Administrator and it will let you use it. Sometimes you will get that box telling you to run as admin, if it has a Continue button, then just click it.

    Thanks, I have tried this but then it says the device is not connected and to try again after connecting it or turning it on, this I have done.

How to choose a easiest way to Find out Windows 7 Password
An administrator password in Windows 7 is the password to any account that’s setup to access administrator level functions in Windows 7.
There doesn’t actually have to be an Administrator user account. What you need is the password to any account that can act as an administrator.
There are a few times when you will need this password. You may need an Windows 7 administrator password if you’re trying to run certain types of programs or access certain Windows 7 password recovery tools.
Follow the steps below to quickly find the Windows 7 administrator password!
1.Try leaving the password blank. If there is actually an Administrator account, the password may not exist at all!
Just press Enter without typing anything when asked for it
2.Enter the password to your account. Often times, depending on how Windows 7 was setup on your computer, the primary user account will also be an administrator user account.
3.Try to remember the Windows 7 administrator password. As I mentioned in the last step, your account might be an administrator account, especially if you installed Windows 7 on your computer yourself.
4.Have another user enter his or her credentials. If there are other users that have accounts on your Windows 7 computer, one of them may be setup with administrator access.
5.If this is true, have the other user designate you as an administrator as well.
6.Recover the Windows 7 administrator password using a Windows password recovery tool. You are able to recover or reset Windows 7 administrator password with Windows Password Unlocker
7.Perform a clean install of Windows 7. This is a last resort option. This type of installation will completely remove Windows 7 from your PC and install it again from scratch.
If you’re just curious about your administrator password, I wouldn’t suggest this extreme solution. However, if you’re needing the administrator password to access operating system diagnostic tools and this is your last effort to save your PC, performing a clean install will work.
Keep in mind that it is a time consuming process due to the fact that all of your data must be backed up and then later restored.

Try loading Windows Recovery Environment on Windows 7 disk

1. First we will be needing a windows 7 dvd (Any windows 7 disk will do ..home, ultimate...etc.)
2. Boot the windows 7
3. under the Install Now windows, click on Repair your computer
4. Choose Command Prompt among the list
5. type Notepad
6. From the Notepad GUI (Graphical User Interface) -> Click File -> Open
7. Open windows will appear
8. Try to path where the external hard drive is in. And select all files that you need to save. By simply copy and paste from where you want to save the files in

I am in standard user on my laptop and want to switch to administrator user and my Toshiba laptop wont let me switch
What is the Operating System installed on your Laptop? For windows, try this:

Open the command prompt, or simply start, type in "cmd" [without quotes], press enter and type in "Net user /active:yes" [without quotes and one space after user] again press enter and confirm if any message pops up. This is enable the administrator's account.

You can also manually enable it from the Computer Management, right-click the My Computer, select "Manage", click "Local users and Groups", then again open "Users", double-click the "Administrator" and enable it.

How to install QS-70 with Windows 7?
It may or may not work, but try installing as Administrator and setting the program's EXE into "Compatability Mode for XP SP2",and also, running as Administrator. Windows 7 just doesn't want to support any hardware over like a year old... Drivers are a HUGE issue. Especially for older stuff. Compatability Mode is one way round it but not always.
