How to imprint date and time on pictures for FE-370 Olympus camera

The FE-370 will not deface your pictures by scrawling numbers across them. However, the data is stored with every picture. Depending on the program and printer, you can print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back. Please refer to the documentation for the program.

If you print directly from the camera, refer to the instructions in the "Printing" section of the camera manual (page 38 in my copy).

When I hook the connection from my camera to the computer to download pictures, nothing happens. What can I do next? I have an Olympus D-370 camera. Thanks, Laura

Have the camera off when connecting the cord...then turn it on. If an icon doesn't appear on your desktop or Windows doesn't offer to open it in a list of programs, open "my computer"...it may be listed as a removable drive that you can double-click on to open. Or, if you use a memory card, just buy a memory card reader and plug that in...works every time.

Olympus FE 370 Broken Screen

You need to remove the back of the camera by removing the screws that goaround the perimeter. Then gently pry open the back. Then gently pry the screen edge that is closest to the out side and work around till it loosens. Then you must peel back a clamp tiny bar that holds the wire cable on to release it. reverse to install.

F8 aperture

You are able to shoot at F8 by opening the lens barrier and sliding the macro switch to the Macro mode. This provides a mechanical aperture of F8. We recommend the use of this setting either when shooting close up images or when shooting images in a very brightly lit scene. Unfortunately, because the aperture is mechanical, the EXIF information is not recorded. Therefore, you can not see whether you photographed an image in the Macro mode or if the aperture has been changed. However, you can physically see the aperture close down by looking at the lens with a magnifying glass or loupe when turning the sliding the macro switch to the Macro mode.
