You have to pull entire tub assy out of mach, removing all hoses, motor, wiring shocks and springs.then you remove all the bolts going around the middle of front and rear tub.the bearings and seals are pressed into the rear tub and are not removable for separate replacement.rear tub and basket have to be replaced together and is quite expensive to buy these parts..good luck

Replacing the bearings is a comprehensive job and requires expertise and a lot of time.
First of all should estimate which parts should be replaced.
These are certainly the following parts: "Ball bearing - 25x52x15",
"Ball bearing - 30x62x16", Seal of drum shaft - 35-62 and besides them should be reviewed the state of drum shaft.
After a thorough review, you should estimate whether the repair cost or cheaper to buy a new washing machine.
First of all, I recommend that you look the tutorials on the following links:

Spin Cycle is very loud on front load washing machine

See here
How to fit a Bearing in a Washing Machine | Appliance Repair Help

  • If a washing machine is rumbling, and very noisy on spin, the main suspect is the drum bearings. Drum bearing failure is common on many washing machines due to water getting into them if the drum bearing seal fails. (Hotpoint and Zanussi in particular in my experience) To check for drum bearing failure you can take the belt off and spin the drum by hand. If the drum rumbles when spun then the bearings may have gone. There should be a constant rumble all the time the drum is revolving.
  • Another drum bearing failure symptom is excessive up and down play in the drum which can be checked for by lifting the drum up and down from the drum lip behind the door seal. A further symptom of drum bearing failure can be a brown rust patch underneath the washing machine and down the back of the outer drum, underneath the drum pulley (where the belt goes) although this patch is not always present. There are usually two small holes at the back of the drum bearings where water that has got past the drum bearing seal trickles out, and it's usually stained with grease and rust if water has got into the bearings.
  • Loud noises when turning the drum by hand can also be caused if the drum itself splits, or the spider at the back of the drum has come away from the drum, is corroded or even broken. This would normally be a loud noise on each revolution of the drum whereas the noise when drum bearings have gone is constant all the time the drum is turning. Lifting the drum checking for excessive play can often reveal a broken or loose drum spider which sometimes only occurs at certain points round the drum (the spider has three arms and is bolted to the drum at three points)

Replace beko 8227 drum bearings

Remove drium.
Remove bearing(s) from drum

Using a brass drift punch find the two slots behind the bearing race,
and drive the race out using the brass drift. If you must use a steel drift , wear eye protection as the race may shatter like glass.

Install new race, purchased for an auto parts dealer or a bearing dealer, if one is available to you, using the brass drift punch, or a piece of wood and a hammer . Do not allow the hammer to touch the new race.

Pack the new bearing(s) with grease. Reassemble drum onto machine.

How do you take the inner drum out of a Frigidaire front loading washer?

Make sure you have plenty of well-lit space to work as well as lay out the parts removed. Remove the cabinet top by removing several screws from the rear, slide it back somewhat, then lift up. Remove the back panel by removing screws along the top rear, then lift up. Pull loose the rubber boot (it's glued to the cabinet front opening as well as to the outer drum face) CAREFULLY from the front panel opening. After uncoupling the drum motor, wiring, hoses, and suspension components, lift out the entire outer drum assembly. The case splits after removing a handful of bolts from the split circumference. Remove the large drum pulley and any snap-rings holding the large shaft in place. The inner drum should pull out of the rear case, but leave the bearings and seal in the case. The inner bearing and seal are prone to failure over time. The official fix is to replace the rear case (with new seal and bearings) for some 300 to 400 dollars. We chose to replace the bearing and seal from a local bearing supply house for about $16. It's still working well after over 10 years. Assemble in reverse order. Use 3M automotive trim cement for gluing the rubber boot back to the cabinet front. Hope this helps!

Making a loud humming noise and won't start or drain (front loading)

loud humming noise in the washers!I there may be two probable causes:

1.) pulley is loose on the shaft
2.)bearing is bust and the whole back part of the tub needs replaced because it was built integrated into the plastic tub casing.

Rust and leak streaks are signs of end-term bearing failure; the absense of these is not a conclusive indication that the bearing is unimpaired.

Remove the belt from the drum pulley and spin the drum by hand. If you hear noise, that's the bearing. hope this helps

    Candy drum bearing replacement

    Hello
This is fairly straightforward but little hard work to remove and fix. If you have Candy Washing machine such as model CE430 which is fully automatic electro-mechanical with AC motor , the replacement will be as follows that I have done successfully

    1. Remove the belt and motor, then remove the hex nut on then drum pulley. But pulley may not come out. It is suggested to remove the hex nut whiled drum on the frame because it is easy to remove while it is on the frame.
    2. Take the complete drum assembly out of the washing machine frame.
    3. Leave the drum assy on a bench with pulley side upward, use puncher to tap onto the center of the drum spindle, make sure that you will not damage the screw threads on the spindle. the spindle should go down the pulley should pop up.
    4. Then keep punching until drum spindle and the “Y” arm assemble comes out.
    5. Now you will have the pulley and drum and Y spindle removed. the 2 bearings and water seal still in the drum casing.
    6. Use rust cleaner chemical or spray to dissolve the rust off. Then use either bearing puller or use iron puncher to tap on the bearing gently but hard , may use 1kg hammer and take each bearing out. The inner bearing will come out with the water seal.
    7. How to get the spare parts; these parts are very common in this geographical region ( Asia). You can buy generic parts. Get the mechanical specifications on the bearing to buy the bearing. The water seal which is generally referred as oil seal, look for specifications such as specs will have inner & outer diameter and the height ( width) ie 22 mm, 40mm and 10mm for water seal of the Candy CE430. Make sure you have the exact shape of the water seal as the original one.
    8. Install back the new parts: you need to smoothen the spindle and clean the area as well. to have less friction , smoothen the spindle surface using sand-paper, it will be easy to press the bearing and the spindles.
    9. 1st you install the bearings. You need to add thick lubricant in between the inner bearing and inside of the water seal. Then insert the water seal as well.
    10. The drum spindle can be inserted to the bearing, you cannot use iron hammer because it will dent the drum, you need to push and may use wooden plank warp with thick cloth like towel to batter on to the center of the drum gently, if the spindle is smoothen properly it should go in with out a hassle. Make sure that drum rotates freely, then pulley can be installed.
    11. The drum bearing replacement is completed
    12. Re-install the other parts back.

    Stainless steel drum loose

A loose inner drum usually indicates a failed rear tub bearing. The only solution is to replace the rear half of the tub. (which contains the bearing).... You can check if the pulley nut has come loose by removing the rear panel. There is a large nut that retains the belt pulley to the shaft of the basket.
