I can't delete the picture from my 8gb ipo9d touch

First, you can't delete photos directly on the iPod, but you can delete videos...kind of lame but that's the way Apple made it.
Do delete photos...when you plug in your touch to your computer...just click on your iPod which should have all the tabs at the top. The tab you want is photos...you should be able to just click sync pics or select the pics you want to sync. Once you unselect the picture you do not want hit the sync button and it should take it off the iPod.

How do i delete photo albums from i touch

You can't do it directly from the ipod touch. Don't know why Apple did that.

You have to delete the pictures in itunes and then connect the ipod and click on update photos.

I have 4 photos on my ipod touch, i want to delete 3 of them, just three. how do i do that?

Hi,

The procedure is :-
Step 1

This is the first step and will definantly be the easiest. Take your link cable, and plug it into the notch into the computer. Take the end of your cable and plug it up into the iPod. The side that has the gray circle on the cable will be plugged up face up.

Step 2

This is the second step. Go into either internet explorer or safari and then go into your files. Go into the file that your store all of your pictures in on your iPod. Then delete the pictures you don't want on your iPod. Or move the pictures to a different folder.

Step 3

This is the final step. Go into iTunes and sync your folder with all of your pictures. It will remove the photos you deleted from your iPod.

Let me know, if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Excuse me how can i delete one or two pictures off of my ipod touch?

If its something in the saves pictures folder, go to the picture and press the trash can. If not, then delete it off your computer, or move it somewhere else other than your pictures file, and then it will be deleted off your ipod next time you sync.

How do I delete pictures from the ipod nano 4th generation

You can delete the pictures from whatever folder it's in and it will automatically remove the picture from your iPod. And you always have the choice to not transfer pictures to your iPod automatically.

I downloaded some pictures twice and I cannot find how/where to delete them. iPod 8GB, model #1236

You can not do it directly in the iPod. You have to use iTunes for deleting them.

Imported photos can be deleted from the iPod disk while it is attached to a Computer.

Connect the iPod to a Computer.

When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes Source list, select it.

If the Summary pane isn't showing, click the Summary tab.

Click "Enable disk use".

All imported photos are located in the "DCIM" folder on the iPod disk.

Delete the images which you want.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

The iPod must be synced to your computer in order to delete the picture. Go in through the menu that you loaded the picture through.

How to delete photos on IPOD nano?

If your iPod can manually sync I'd choose this option then you will know you are in complete control with what you want on your iPod including photos.
Another consideration is to buy a charger plug adaptor. Sometimes when I want to change back to automatic sync option on the iPod, I'll use the charger plug which is a plug and uses the same USB link cable supplied with the iPod. That way I know that Im able to charge the iPod without anything getting on.
