Power supply light flashing.

-   same thing, green light on it just blinks at me. No idea why. Wonder if there is a fuze inside?

-   hp a564n - local power outage - computer was plugged into a UPS. Same day computer would not turn on. Green power supply light flashing. Unplug mother board and light is steady. Replug mother board and light flashes - computer still will not turn on. Question the same mother board or power supply?

I had to do some electrical work in my office so I turned off the circuit breaker. When I turned it back on I assume I got a power surge...now my PC won't turn on. Power supply light flashes. I unplugged the motherboard connector and the PS light stays on steady. I plug the PS connector back into the MB and the light flashes again, PC still won't turn on. I also tried resetting the CMOS (moved the jumper over, etc.). Is this a PS problem or a motherboard problem?-   blm104
