Just go to your Router manufactures web site. There you can download the latest drives. Just get the model/serial number off the bottom of your wireless router.

I can't find anyway to connect my Emachine W3115

The eMachines W3115

The system features 10/100Mbps integrated Ethernet support for local area networking and a 56K ITU V.92-ready modem and fax port.

Select your "Start" menu from the desktop, right-click on "My Computer" before selecting "Properties." Select "Hardware" menu once the Properties menu pops up, and click your "Device Manager" menu.

Look for something marked as 802.11b/g WLAN. If you see it, this means you are using the right hardware for connecting your wireless router.

Go back to your "Start" menu, select "Control Panel" and go to "Network Connections." Continue by right-clicking on the icon for "Wireless Network" and selecting "Properties."

You should see three tabs for the window for Wireless Network Connection Properties. Choose "Internet Protocol" before clicking on "Properties," allowing you to connect to a network.

Click "Start," before going to "Control Panel," and finally to "Network Connections."

Right-click on the icon for "Wireless Network" while you are in the Network Connections window, and choose "Repair."

This will end your connection with your present wireless network and attempt to reestablish a stronger network connection.

Reboot your laptop to fix the wireless Internet connection problem if none of the previous steps works. Click on the "Start" button on your desktop and select "Restart."

Wait for about 15 to 30 minutes to observe if the wireless connection problem has improved
Make sure you Ethernet/internet is enabled in bios. Restart your computer during the boot up process you will see on your screen a certain key to press to enter set up (BIOS) press and hold that key to enter bios using arrow keys scroll to integrated peripherals

look for SiS On Chip Pci Device press enter make sure its enabled.
then recheck the driveri t should be there
k the driver it should be there
make sure its enabledPci device arrows key scroll to nstalled

if these packages are not the right

on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for
tick in either windows software or the all software box
eg: motherboard name wireless or ethernet driver
you might have to try a few times to get it right

Hope this helps.

I deleted the wireless internet off my desktop. Can I get it back?

Wireless is acctually located in you Control Panel. If it was on desktop it would be just a shortcut. If you click on start, control panel and then depending are you in classic view or category view you will see icon that says network connections or internet and network connections in windows xp or network and sharing center in wondows 7 and vista. Once open you will see option for wireless connection. If you actually deleted drivers for wireless then you need your original cd with drivers to install it again. Just open the cd and install the wireless drivers.Hope this helps.

My computer died we redid widows xp disk and it came back now i dont have wireless how do i get it back

Hi, you will need to reinstall the wireless card drivers, if this came with wireless as standard you should be able to download the drivers from the manufacturers support website, if it was added later on then it should have came with an install disc with the drivers on it.

Hope this helps

Desktop recovery disc for laptop

Courtesy of Gateway here is your driver for the network card:

http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/search.asp?ref=step&st=browse&platform=10022&model=11417&os=10406&type=10095

Now here is where it gets tricky. I'm not sure what wireless network card you have there but on that page is a section that says other available downloadsm click on where it says "click here to view these results". There will be drivers for different network cards. I believe it will be the first one in the list, the broadcom one, if not then try any of the other wireless card drivers. Hope this helps you and sorry for the delay.

I reistalled Windows XP and sincew doing so I have lost my wireless connection

This is probably because your wireless adapter or network driver was uninstalled with the installation of Windows XP. I suggest looking up your motherboard and finding its network driver. If your wireless adapter is a card, then look up that driver as well.

Hi, whenever I turn on my wireless reception , a MS Dos-like, blue screen pops up and my computer reboots. The error centre said it is a wireless adaptor problem. Please help.

The blue screen of death is caused by a problem associated with the drivers for the wireless adapter. It is commonly called a "STOP ERROR"

download and run everest home from this site
click on Network, click on windows network. this will ID the wireless card you are using. google the card for updated drivers.(or e-mail me at mewms_14904@verizon.net
