Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV
The new PS3 will connect to the tv through the front panel RCA jacks but I want 1080i support using HDMI cable to the back of the set. After connection the TV does not see the PS3. Is there any way to get 1080i via the HDMI input, and how in the world does one select it from the tv?
PS3 has output settings and would need to be adjusted if you are coming from the RCA input. Check out www.sony.com/ps3 trouble shooting under display problems. I believe the solution is to turn on the PS3 unit and keep holding the I/O button for more than 5 seconds. I had the same issue going the other way.
