Please check whether the printout is coming proper when you give a print.
if its coming proper the cartridge is proper.this message is shown because in the printer there is a sensor which detects where there is a ink in the cartridge or its empty.so if the printouts are coming properly the sensor is bit moved from its orignal position or the sensors are damaged and became faulty to detect the ink in the cartridges.
so you use the cartridges let it detect no ink print out will come till the end of the ink.

or if still the prints do not come try changing the cartriges .

Hi,if the converence is wildly pinched in say one corner compared to the other colours then it is most likely that your convergence circuits have failed for that colour. - Warning,Not an easy fix without circuit schematics and can also be costly for the IC's too

Hey,

3 years, its definitely a problem in the printer head or the cardridges, try performing the print head cleaning a few times, also alingment? You can also clean the carts and connectors yourself.

Thanks,

Hi I have a rear projection and I cannot get the colour red in the screen all the other colours are there

You may have a faulty red CRT. This is something worth fixing I would say. I would need to know more history and symptoms to tell for sure. When it is on does the power light flash? If so how many flashes between the long pauses? Is there absolutely no red? Is the tint control in the center? Post back and I will do my best to help.

How to service the colour wheel.

I'm sorry to say that the color wheel is not a field servicable part. These are usually replaced and "refurbished" at the factory. Extensive test equipment is required to properly adjust and align these modules.

Yea I would say so.. simple coincidence.. Ok... Hmm maybe the set needs to be De-gaussed.. has anyone had any Magnets near it lately? If so get a De-gaussing wand and run it over the screen

But more likely it has a failed colour component somewhere probably inside the "Jungle Chip" as it's called..

Unless ya can troubleshoot thses things yaself I would recommend that ya find a reputable serviceman and obtain a :Quote" and proceede from there. GL

Projector problem

If replacing the lamp did not fix the problem, I would suggest to check the cables that bring the video from a computer or any other device that you are connecting to the projector.
Also try to hook up a DVD player using the video output from the DVD to the video input on your projector.
Good Luck.
