F2-E0 - Shorted Touch Pad (Keypad) - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error F2-E0 on your kitchen aid means that the keypad is shorted and to resolve this issue you’ll have to replace the electronic range control/clock (ERC). Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

I have a kenmore gas range and on the display is says EO F2

The "F2 - E0" error code means "Shorted keypad".

Remove power from the range, open the control panel and unplug the membrane switch ribbon from the control board.

Reconnect power to the range and observe for an hour.

If the error code reappear - replace the control board.

If not - replace the membrane switch.

If I get the model # I can help you pind the right parts.

Good Luck and please rate 4 thumbs for the free answer

My kenmore oven is displaying ED F2 whats the problem?

So is mine, although I thought it was E0 F2. Everything I can find says to replace the electronic oven control. My oven did this about 6 months ago and I saw something online that said to unplug the oven, push each button to see if one is stuck, and then plug the oven back in. This worked for me previously, but hasn't worked this time.
