Question about Brother IntelliFax-4100e Fax
Our machine acts like it is receiving - even states so on LCD - but nothing ever comes and the line disconnects. Any clues as to how this very busy office can get it to work while a new one is on order? Or before I throw this one out of the 8th floor window (and no they do not open).
I have this EXACT problem. I called our phone provider (since it game me a poor line quality error) and they said they're aren't any problems but they'll send a technician out when they can. I'm not going to comment on that because this is effecting our business and she seemed not to care. Big NO-NO in customer service; however... The line picks up and the display reads Receiving - Online. Then I can hear it click which is like it just disconnects. It's like clock work, almost as if there's some sort of timer. I've done the perimeter reset, unplugged the machine, everything (well I feel at least). I almost feel there is a setting on the machine disconnecting it after so much time. Please!!! any help would be tremendously appreciated!!!
