Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
This unit shows a code 450. What does that mean and how do I clear it?
It also beeps the same code.
The problem with this unit is the keypad connection. After many uses, heat from the unit softens the plastic keypad cable connector. The connector is soldered onto the timer circuit board. What is needed here is an insulator to deflect the heat and humidity away from the timer board, or a different type of connection. Good luck trying to get a hold of the manufacturer.
