Question about Rancilio Silvia Espresso Machine
I just got a Rancilio Silvia and I am finding that the espresso does not seem strong enough. It is almost like there is too much water going through the espresso? I am not too sure, if you know anything I would really appreciate a nice strong espresso.
I had a problem like this with my first proper Gaggia. Cutting a long story short I found that the coffee I was using wasn't ground finely enough. The Illy stuff that comes in cans was ok, but pretty much everything else preground (incuding Lavazza!) was too coarse.
Sidestep the problem by getting yourslef a Rancilio Rocky grinder then you can adjust the grind in TINY increments for your perfect coffee moment...
