LOL also make sure you download the CORRECT version not just the first link you are given !!!

There are a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version please take the time to get the correct one !

To check your version GOTo control panel, system,
Look around the middle of the screen and it should tell you which you need as indicated by
System type 64-bit Operating system
OR
System Type 32- bit Operating system

SAVE it to your computer DONT run it from the web as this can on occasion cause issues with installations.
Once saved DO REMOVE older versions before installing any other versions
and DO a shut down / restart of your computer before going on to install.

Your BROWSER type is also an important factor.
The OS (operating system) is another factor too !
There are different versions for different OS so make sure you get the version that matches your OS

Note that this is a COMPLETE answer not a half baked one as provided prev.

Flash player not installing

1) Check the settings of your anti-virus program. A lot of times an anti-virus program will not let a program download.

2) The main thing with Adobe Flash Player, is that it will NOT install a new version of Flash Player; with an old version present.

And it will NOT automatically delete the old version.

Use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool.
Then go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, and download AND install the newest version of Adobe Flash Player.

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller tool,

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Go down to the bottom of the page, where it states in bold print -
Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller
Click on the blue - Tech note - in the paragraph.

Takes you to here,

http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Scroll down to -
1. Download the uninstaller for Flash Player
Click on the blue - uninstaller - underneath the above heading. [Uninstaller (674KB) ]

A small window will come up. Click on Save File.
A small download window will come up.
Allow the file to fully download, then DOUBLE-click right on the file name.

At the bottom of the next 3 small windows, click on Next, Next, and Finish.
If you are not asked to restart your computer, do so.

When Windows loads back up again, go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, download and install the newest version of Adobe Flash Player.

Hi tanis59
You are probably using Windows 7 64 bit . IE 64 bit is not yet ready to integrate Flash Player 10.1 and you need to use IE 32 bit . You will find it here : Start / All Prgrams / Internet Explorer . Select IE and not IE 64 bit . It will download and install Flash Player on your machine .
Best regards ,

I keep getting this error: adobe flash player installer/ uninstaller 10.1 r10.2 has stopped working Its making everything run slow and the view of pages are very odd and plain.

Hi,
Please try these steps:
1. Try to uninstall flash player by use Add/ Remove programs.(Start - Control Panel- Add/Remove Program)
2. Go to Adobe website download latest version of Flash Player and installer it. Adobe Website will verify the installation for you. Go here for the Flash Player
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

This can be done under administrator account only. If new message say you can't uninstall because program is in use, please open Task Manager and End Flash Player task then keep doing the uninstallation.
Hope this will help.
Thanks for reading.

Failed to download adobe flash player. how to download it ?

Not really sure how you tried, but all you have to do is go to www.adobe.com and choose Adobe Flash and download it.
You didn't say what your problem is, but if you have a firewall or A/V program, it might be stopping the download. When it asks you if you want to download it, you have to say yes.

Internet Explorer will stop the download unless you click on the yellow line under the tool bars and tell it to allow the download.

I have no idea to insall my adobe to watch shot videos like bob marley live concert

Adobe Flash Player

What they do not tell you (Adobe), is that when you go to install the latest version of Flash Player, it Does Not automatically delete the older version.

The new version will not install if an older version is present.

Download, Install, and use the Adobe Flash Player Uninstall Tool.
(From Adobe.com)

Restart your computer.

Then go back to the Adobe Flash Player download page, download and install the latest version.
Restart your computer once more.

(No, going into Add/Remove Programs doesn't net you anything)

This is the Adobe Flash Player Uninstall Tool download page,

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Yep. Same as the latest version page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Under the heading > Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller Tech Note

Takes you to this page,

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Go down to Number 1.
Left-click on the blue > uninstall_flash_player.exe, and click right on it.

A small window will come up > Opening uninstall_flash_player.exe
Click on Save File

Another small window will come up.
Very quickly look at the heading at the Top of the window.
This is where the file will download to.
Write it down.

In the heading at the top it may have;
1) Desktop
or
2) My Documents {Documents for Vista}
or
3) Downloads

If there is Desktop in the heading the file will download to your desktop screen

My Documents? Click on Start > My Documents

Downloads? Click on Start > My Documents > Double-click on > Downloads

When you see the file name > uninstall_flash_player.exe, Double-click on it.

Follow the easy instructions.

After it has installed run the Uninstaller.
Once the Uninstaller has finished, restart your computer.

Now go back to Adobe Flash Player Support, and download the latest version.
At the top right of the page click on the white > f in the Red square.

After the latest version of Adobe Flash Player has installed, restart your computer.

I go to alot of websites for their information and they say I need adobe flash player to view the info. I have downloaded it but it never works.

You probably need the newest version of Adobe Flash Player for those websites.

Yes, I read where you downloaded it, but there is a flaw.

Adobe Flash Player will NOT uninstall the old version. Therefore it won't use the new version until the old version is removed. Adobe Flash Player does Not remove the old version automatically. (As many other programs do)

YOU have to manually remove the old version, before you can install the new version.

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller.

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Yep. Same place as the Adobe Flash Player new version.
Adobe Flash Player Support Center.

Go to the bottom of the page.
Under the heading Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller, you will see Tech Note in blue.
Click on it.

Or this is the page it takes you to. (I just wanted you to see how to find it)

http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

To the right of number 1, click on the blue - uninstall_flash_player.exe
I would set it so that it goes to your desktop screen. Much easier to find.

After the file has downloaded, go to your desktop screen.
Double-click right on the file name.
Install it.

Now run the file.
Restart your computer.
Go back to the Adobe Flash Player Support Center, and download the latest version.
Install it.
Restart your computer.

Let me know how that works in a Comment.
