Re: out of range
The out of range message indicates that the video signal is detected but that the monitor can not sync to it. This can be becasue the resoution is too high or too low. Try changing the resolution downward first. If this has just shown up, then there is a problem within the monitor that is mistakenly being reported as an out of range condition.

Do you remember making any changes to the computer recently?
This seems to be a connection problem or the cable is gone bad.
I would suggest that you connect the monitor to another CPU unit if you have this is to check if the monitor itself is gone bad. Also make sure that the connection to the monitor is correct. Also try connecting another monitor to the computer and check. This issue may also occur if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the monitor. The video adapter setting for updating the screen (the refresh rate) is incompatible with the monitor.
Out of rang on a monitor has nothing to do with wireless.
Out of rang on a monitor means that the settings on the video signal are too high for it to show. The fix is to lower the video settings. You can start your computer in safe mode to change the settings if you don't have a better monitor to access it.
You can try removing signal cable from pc.If it still says "Out of range" most probably main logic card or interface board as it is known in the lcd monitor could be defective. If on the other hand removing the signal cable gives message No signal ,cable not connected, try connecting monitor to another working known pc.If it still doesn't work the interface board in the monitor is defective.
