Sounds like your over half way there lol..
You now need to check the resistors positioned near the convergence ic's. They are your likely problem and go bad often when the ic's fail.
They are normally about 2watt and the values will vary but normally are like .10 ohms to 1 ohm.
I cant find a schematic to give you the exact values and locations but if these resistors measure off value at all you need to replace them with the exact value of the originals.
The only items on your set that should need replacement would be both convergence IC IC801 and IC802 which are both STK392-570 and you will also need to change the two 5 Amp pico fuses which are F9A04 and F9A05 they are both % amp pico fuses. All parts are located on the center Board
This is like a quiz right?? Let's see ;;;;;;; by convergence resistors I assume you mean the yoke return resistors out in front of the amps. There are 6, in the 2.2ohm 1w range, easy enough to find. The value of the convergence amps, that unit uses two stk392-110 Sanyo original Ic's rated at 6amps. You can use stk392-150's or stk392-180's just a higher amp rating. The two pico fuses in that circuit are F851 and F852 respectively.

Did you remove one side of the resistors from circuit to check them? If you leave them in circuit a blown resistor will test good as it will read the resistance from the surrounding resistors. Usually its the 3.9 ohm resistors identified bu the bands orange,white ,gold and red. and also the 150 ohm identified by the bands brown, green, brown and gold
