Filter ?Queen Majestic Canister Vacuum – Motor Motor? I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. If your Filter Queen Motor is out or not working, the customer can replace the motor if they are mechanically minded and mark the wires as they remove the old motor with the new motor or you can have it serviced by your local vacuum dealer in your area, you can pickup the motor @ a local vacuum cleaner dealer in you area by checking the yellow pages or to contact the Filter Queen factory listed below. It requires a new motor and a new gasket; the biggest problem would be the wiring of the new motor. The cone filter if put on right should collect the dirt, the tabs shoud be on the edge so when you put the top on, it keeps it in place. Wish I could help more, guess I would have to see it to figure it out. Here is a pic. of the top part, are all filters ok? There is one under the round card-board besides the one at the bottom of the motor. #18 is the filter.
