Question about HTC Advantage X7500 Smartphone
I have a HTC advantage phone that weirdly just cancels the call if i don't press a button it like goes to sleep I have worked out its needs to know that I am on a call every 55secs I have to hit a button otherwise it cuts off for a phone that cost me £850.00 this really really sucks !
If I cannot sort this out its going up for sale - I cannot believe it Blackberry rules just now seriously ... Listen other High tech HTC X7500 owners dont' suffer in silience speak out these phones are odd!!!!
My phone's screen turns off while I'm on the phone if I don't put in any input. That doesn't turn off the call... however, I've noticed bugs on my phone as well. Perhaps you could tell me which OS you're running on it, and which programs you've installed since you had the phone. If it's done this since day 1, it may be one problem, if it's done it only recently, it may be another.
I would recommend going into your settings, turning off all auto sleeps as well as disabling the auto shut off blacklight after a certain time. Set all settings to make sure the phone only sleeps when you tell it to (aka pressing the sleep button).
If that doesn't work, try deleting some appllications you installed (in your settings, remove programs.) Start with ones which are only related to your phone's phone.... get it? ;)
If that doesn't work, there are other solutions but they involve more work (ie hard reset). READ CAREFULLY HERE Just as a note, to do a hard reset (erase everything and start again) press and hold the volume down button and then press the reset button on the back while still holding the volume down.
WARNING this will delete all personal information, programs that you installed yourself, and contact information. ALSO Anything on the Microdrive (8GB) will not be erased, ONLY the things on the device itself.
