Question about Toshiba Computers & Internet
You can download window xp from the internet and then try to install it and your computer will then ask you if you have a CD try cleaning the CD before putting it in the CD room.
Considering that you may of bought a faulty CD check for scratches or mark on the bottom of the CD...
If it has try buying a new one you get it cheaper of the internet but if you beware there are more faulty CD or fake CD out thete make sure the one you buy has a good quality mark and a shiny identifications mark saying windows xp on the CD this will prove that you have the real deal if not contact windows web sight and asked them to deal with it.
Asking for a discount of course you could also consider sending the CD back with a letter if it is faulty who knows you may get a letter back with and apology and voucher to spend...
If it not you CD than it must be you CD rom it may of lost you driver go to the control panel and check on your systems hard ware to download you must find out what the driver is called and enter the word free drive (Name and number) downloading will take a few minuets.
Hope this helps
