Question about Tomtom GO 910
I got this phone as an upgrade on the Orange network. I had a Nokia 6233 before and it worked well with my tomtom. Now although the moto will seem to pair with the tomtom it does not complete the process and will not work handsfree. Motorola can't help as they are only interested in compatibility with their own products. tomtom say that as the phone is not on the tested list of compatible phones that they can't support it. When pressed they say the problem may be that the phone is using a more modern bluetooth protocol than the 910 and liken it to having spanish on the phone and portugese on the tomtom - i.e. similar but not the same! Can anyone help? Can the bluetooth on tomtom be upgraded?
Sorry but your phone is not compatible...there is no way to force them to work,..there is no upgrade that can be offered
the reason for this is due to the paltform that your phone works on
