open yr desktop cassing then u will see yr cd/dvd rom. then find for button to remove cd/dvd rom then pull tht tht boten and pull up yr cd rom.
new cd rom you must set jumper setting to slave then connect all cd rom cable. on yr system ten see yr cd rom will auto place in my computer.
If you have done an clean installation of the operating system then you need to install the drivers using the CD which came along with your laptop or desktop at the time when you had purchased the computer. if you have not got the Driver CD then visit your computer manufacturers website and download the drivers by entering your computers make andthe model numbers and choose the operating system that should take care of the problem.

Hai, Are u installed any sound driver for your pc.Try to install the sound driver with the motherboard cd that came along with a new pc.First put the cd on the cd rom and automatically install all the required drivers.It will work deffenitely.
