DATE -TIME RESET??

What seems to be the problem with the date and time?

If you want to change the date and time settings, then you can click on the time on the bottom right corner of your screen. There you can change the time and date settings.
Or if date and time are always changing whatever you do then you would need to change the CMOS battery of your computer.

Clearing cmos

The BIOS battery maybe under one of the panels on the bottom of the laptop or under the keyboard.
To reset the BIOS ack to the default settings, go into the BIOS configuration and look at the various configurations, usually there is a setting to load the Default settings, then save and exit, and this would not change the Date & Time setting.
The other way to set the BIOS default setting is to remove the BIOS battery (it is probably a lithium 3volt button battery), wait 1/2 hour and replace the battery, the go into the BIOS configuration and set the Date & Time setting etc.

Display problem

try to do a system restore, for windows (xp or vista) click start>all programs> accessories>system tools>system restore> next> choose date> next....>system will automatically restart and reset your computer back to the date you have chosen. Just make sure that you choose a date when all was working ok.
