Problem for Panasonic SC-AK17 Shelf System

Panasonic SA-AK17 displays "F61"

Panasonic 5 disc cd mini stereo model:SA-AK17,year:Aug 1999,when turned on the relay clicks then the display reads "F61" then the unit turns off.I unsoldered and removed audio output IC module pcb location:

IC501=RSN3502A=RSN3502A=RSN3502B=RSN3502C=SVI3102=SVI3202D

and now the unit turns on normally but when shut the unit off it turns on again shortly after,I assume it is because the IC is missing am I correct?and just to be 100% sure it is the IC that is defective correct?.Thanks in advance for replys.

It's not the IC that is wrong, the problem is that the output line going to the speaker is probobly shorted. check if the balance is working properly between the left and the right. if this is ok then the fault is in your speakers. check it for shorted wi

F61 for sure is the meaning of audio fault , it could be either from the audio IC , or from the CPU , or from the power supply .. first if i was you i will check the DC O/P of the final amp to determine if it's from the IC or not take care of the fusible resistors near the IC if the IC is faulty they went too... (just for an advise Don't waste time on it if it's not your set... cause the IC is bloody expensive about 50/60 euro and therefore is not worth repair)
