Re: hI eVERYONE THIS IS JORDAN And i gotta PROBLEM OVER...
It depends on exactly what happened to the LCD. Could you post a close up picture of how it looks like? The worst scenario is that it is broken and has to be replaced (lcds can't be repaired as far as i know). You still have a Very Tiny probability that the internal lcd connector went loose when it was shaken.

it depends on the operating system, you might have to use the program search box to find them, you might have a virus, sometimes you run into a virus that hides everything on your computer, that what most viruses did back in the 90's before the internet became accessible to everyone
That means you maybe have bad operating system, you will need to reinstall Windows XP.
what is effected to your operating system:
1. Destroyed by virus
2. Bad files, maybe you accident deleted something
3. Bad hard drive
4. Memory ram failure
I suggest you to take that to computer tech to check it up, should be free check up and when they find out what's wrong and will call you about how much cost to repair.
i had this same problem just 4 months ago. its caused by a virus and i think it was b'cuz of autorun.ini and so go to www.kaspersky.com, and download it and update it, and it'll find your virus. but also, u gotta re install windows and dont plug any hard drives in your computer until u've fixed the viruses on your computer. if u want to save your stuff, then right when u've booted your computer, hit F8 a bunch of times to go to safe mode and hopefully u'll be able to get on then back up your stuff to your hard drive. do you have your operating system disk? u mite need that or HP computers usually have a built in hard disk where it can reset windows for u. but do that and u may just be able to use windows once and when u shut down, thats usually your last time that u'll see it so dont shut down. try CTRL+SHIFT+ESC and that'll bring u to task manager but the virus u have probably has disabled that but try it anyways, and when or if it pops up, hit file>new, and type explorer.exe and your desktop will pop up.
Listen up, I have had a pretty bad virus on my computer before where this guy hacked in and created his own user account on my computer! Will, I noticed that my computer was detecting any viruses! Thats because he put a virus on my virus detector, so it couldnt detect viruses! I downloaded a different virus detector and got his viruses off of my computer right away! Try downloading a different virus protecter and try that!
