Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX8 Digital Camera
Hi, the LCD on my Lumix DMC-FX8 is too dark. I have removed the battery and replaced it, I have turn the brightness to full, it looks like it needs a setting to turn the backlight on, but I cannot find it in the menu. Please assist with a solution.
I'm not sure what I did but I solve the problem.I open up the camera to see if backlight is unplugged, but everything was ok.In mean time I press I think two buttons at the same time PWR LCD button and main shoot button. Now I'm not so sure and I'm afraid to try it again to make it bad again. So you guys who still have a problem try and let me now if there was a problem.Or it have to have something with screws when I was screwing and unscrewing the camera.Sorry for my bad english

It sounds like your backlight is either defective or unplugged. You can open up the camera and check the ribbon cable, or if you find its not working you can find a defective camera online and make one good camera from the two.
Good luck from Darntoothysam com
