It froze I looked at my MP3 trying to listen to it and the screen is frozen i cant even hear any music and i tried waiting for the battery to die but the screen stayed the same way but without lighting up ... help please

Wait for the Mp3 players battery to die. This had happened to my zune so i waited for the battery to die and then charged it. Bam. It was fine

Wait for it to drain completely!
Then charge the player and try using it!
It hapened to me once.....
But then it worked fine! :)

Try pressing the reset switch on the back....

does ur computer have virus? maybe it inflicted ur MP3

Never mind I've fixed it now. (:

After trying all the things above I gave up and just waited a few hours for the battery to run out. Now I've plugged it back into the PC to charge it and it's unfrozen.

Try resetting your gadget, it wl go alright.

have you tryed rebooting at bottom lefthand corner with pin.

There should be a reset button at the back try this, or hold the power button for several seconds and see if it does anything.

If it's just frozen in on mode you can also wait for the battery to die and then try again.

Try the reset button which is pin-sized hole on bottom right when looking at the HD-400. You will need paper-clip to press it.
