Hello Father,
I'll try to help you with this problem but could you please explain what you've done so far, what system brand and model computer, what operating system ( windows XP, Vista??) and any other details /problems you've encountered during the start up?

hmmm.,.. try this.. insert the cd into the cd player.. then select the little windows button ( lowert left between ctrl and alt buttons while simultaneously pressing the letter E. That should open your MY COMPUTER to a general overview of your system.. Then , using your right mouse button.. select that cd icon until a popup window appears..on that popup.. select OPEN and a number of files will appear.. look for setup information or startup application and pick that.. see if that starts the installation process and makes it thru to the end.. Please get back to me if that doesn't work.. I'll keep checking on your progress or the lack thereof.... hang in there, we'll get you going..

Has anyone tried to load that CD onto another computer and had it work successfully?

I highly recommend that you have someone else load that CD onto another computer to verify that it functions correctly.. Let's rule that out as being the problem.. (I do not think it is, but let's verify)

    Thanks

I am reinstalling windows home, after text install computer reboots , should start gui and complete install , but stays stuck on "press any key to load cd"

usually it is the cd it self when it does not wanna load but i have seen keyboards do this even that they work. like i have seen lots of times where u can not press F8 to accept agreement to continue install. if you have different keyboard i would try it and maybe clean the cd or try diffrent one.

Want to install Quick verse 7 on Vista

the Quick verse 7 was made only for 95 98 2000 and XP but you can try this method on how to install the QV 7 on winXP sp3

"Install QuickVerse Essentials version 7 on WinXP w/sp3

Place the QuickVerse version 7 Essentials CD into optical drive & close tray. This begins the auto run / install process. (Please do not remove CD until right at the end!)

Installation menus appear. Accept the defaults and choose “Typical Installation” (85Mb)

Message box appears at the end of the installation: “QuickVerse installation has encountered a problem and needs to close” Choose “Don’t Send” The installation program exits.

Navigate to: Start Button / All Programs / Parsons / QuickVerse 7 / (from drop down list) find “QuickVerse 7.0” and right click on it. Select “Send To Desktop”

Click on the new QuickVerse 7.0 desktop icon to run the program.

Dialog Box appears, “The librarian datafile library.mdb not found etc…” Select “New” / "Open Book" dialog box appears click on “Close”

Now with QuickVerse 7.0 running go to File / Add Books. “Registration Guide – Introduction” box appears. Choose “Next” The path to the new collection to register should identify the optical drive (with the QuickVerse CD already inserted) Choose “Next”, “Next” and “Finish” ("Registering STEP Books" msg box appears)

Customize Option: select “No” (default) then “OK”

Go to File / Library management. “Library Management – Maintenance” box appears
The Left Hand (LH) pane shows:
Default Drive
QuickVerse Essentials

Highlight QV Essentials in the LH pane. The RH pane shows all the books present on the CD. I chose to install only the NRSV w/Apocrypha book. Drag and drop this book to the LH pane i.e. Default Drive.

“Transferring Book Files” msg box appears whilst the book is being copied from the CD to the hd.

Close the dialog, exit the program, remove the CD and you’re away…"

hope this helps./

Pop up weindow

Hi Ma`am,

You can stop this message from appearing by deleting it in the start-up configuration. How to do this is go to start then run, on type msconfig. A menu will appear then go to start up tab then uncheck the the HP Product Assistant. After the configuration was done the computer will ask to restart your computer. Try if the popup windows will still appear.

Bible collection old version cant pull up int.6 need help

If you are having problems opening the software though might need to reinstall the software. If reinstalling dosen't work you might want to see if there is an error message. If there is not you might want to try and right click the icon and click run. If none of these suggestions help you can e-mail me at 4077mashunit@gmail.com and i will personally fix your problem.

All the Best,
RCF

Shut Down

Shelew, Do you by chance have Comcast High-speed access? ?sdc-Scheduler? is a program that is part of Comcast?s software installation and specifically is a diagnostic support program Comcast techs use if needed. If you do have the software installed chances are good you?ve never used it and won?t need it. If that is the case you can uninstall it and make your problem go away. Go to the Windows Add/Remove programs utility, look for a program called ?ComcastSUPPORT?, highlighting it and clicking on the Remove button. Let us know if this works and please don?t forget to rate this posting.
