first get a good 2 channel amp,not to expensive,on back of your radio you have inputs and outputs, find remote wire for power to radio (should be blue or yellow wire)depending on your ride.output from radio,(rear/bass/)connect to amp with rca plugs=with remote wire, make sure you have good a ground to amp somewhere on the body of the ride if you dont run to much power you should be fine /if you do run more than100 watts get a good kit and complete this install.

My subwoofers don't come on with the radio

do you have the remote wire from behind the radio to the remote on the amp connected? what type of radio do you have ? you might have to run a 12volts power wire to the amp remote with a switch on it that is easy reachable to turn on the amp.

Hi Ive brought a Sony 2dx-gt590ui and sub and amp got it all wired up but the sub only works on radio can you tell me what Ive done wrong???

You can try to connect the remote power wire at amplifier to main power with a jumper wire if sub works with cd and other sources. Then check remote wire from behind radio or you can simply connect remote power wire to a another switched power source from fuse panel.Just make sure its a clean dedicated power source from fuse box and make sure it turns off amp..Goodluck

I need to know what color wire on the cd player is needed to connect to an amp to get it to start working

If you have an aftermarket radio, the wire will be yellow and usually is marked as a remote with 0.5amps of power. If you have a stock radio, I recommend purchasing a harness that allows you to add an amp. The harness should also give you RCA outputs. Hope this helps

The blue remote wire where do i connect it and how? Is the head unit the deck car deck i mean? No power light

The blue remote wire is a wire that you connect to an amp which will turn the amp on when the radio turns on. If you don't have an amp don't connect it, just tape it up

I do not know which wire is my remote wire to hook up a amplifier

You haven't mentioned the brand of your radio, so it is hard to tell you. But in most cases, blue with white strip is commonly used for remote to hook up amps. If possible look for ignition wire in you radio, which is mostly red, connect together and hook up.

I have 2 10' sony xplodes connected to a 2

If your radio is still playing and the subs are giving you music, you most likely have the amp remote wire hooked to a constant power source on the radio. Generally, this is a solid blue wire on both the radio and the wiring harness. It allows the radio to turn the amp on and off when the radio is on or, subsequently, off.
