It can be the margins set within the printer defaults or the margins set by Quicken. In your print preview within Quicken you should be able to see where the margins are set and adjust accordingly. Otherwise, you may need to go to your Epson's print queue and adjust the properties directly on the printer. A nice way to check it is to see if you can print some test checks to plain paper and adjust as you see fit!
the paper you are using may be moisten. pls try another paper sheets . purchase new papers.
if the problem continue clean the paper feeder assembly roller with moist cotton using cleaning liquid eg petrol or spirit etc.
When a paper jam occurs during printing for some reason, the printer
beeps, displaying the message <PAPER JAM> in the display. When
a paper jam occurs, remove the jammed paper using the following
procedure, and then resume the job. If the message that indicates the
paper jam does not disappear even after removing the jammed paper
following the procedure, there is a possibility that torn pieces of
paper are still left inside the printer. Inspect each part of the
printer again, and completely remove all pieces of jammed paper.
You didn't mention which paper feed you are using but I would guess tractor-feed Z-fold?
If so, you may have a damaged sprocket drive.
If not, you need to remove the platen and check for paper scraps in the paper path and if you ever use the printer with labels, you may have some residue from the adhesive impeding paper movement.
Also check that you do not have the printhead positioned too close to the paper as this can cause drag that will cause paper to slip.
These printers are just about bullet-proof with very little maintenance.
I don't know how many hours your Epson has behind it but several printers in this series have some power supply problems relating to service hours and the decay of certain capacitors in the supply.
Finding ones that need replacement requires the availability of a capacitance meter with DF (Dissipation Factor) measurement capabilities.
